Stockholm Fashion Week...Schnati

Little sister of Jessica from LesMads, Schnati. I commented to the girls when I was in Stockholm that they must have the most beautiful family photos (they just laughed!).
Schnati was wearing her sister's clothes in the first photos as her luggage had been lost by the airline. I am flying out to New York tomorrow- fingers and toes crossed the same fate doesn't happen to me! Hmmmm although a whole new wardrobe purchased in New York does have a slight appeal ;)

Back in her own clothes!

Stockholm Fashion Week....Pared Down Pretty

The Perfect Hair (Sigh). I know it is a bit of a cliche but mermaid sprung to mind when I was photographing her!

Stockholm Fashion Week....Felicia

Felicia in high-waisted jeans with the cutest little patches nestled on each knee :)

Stockholm Street Style....Kicks and Sweaters and Smiles

She had just finished modelling in a show in which they had attached hair extensions. I think she was a tiny bit worried they were going to fly out when I asked her to walk for the 2nd photo!

Stockholm Fashion Week...Tangerine Pop!

I think she said the dress was vintage.

Stockholm Street Style...The Teenager

Adore her braces! I always find that people who wear braces tend not to smile for photos (or smile with their mouth clamped firmly shut) but I think they look pretty damn cool.....but I guess I am not the one wearing them so it is easy for me to like them!

Stockholm Fashion Week....Johanna

An alternative to the H&M pants: the Acne leggings.

Stockholm Fashion Week.....Tank+Shorts

Love the cute little "Look What the Cat Dragged In" tank!

Stockholm Fashion Week....Klara

Model Klara Wester in jeans she borrowed off her mum.....and black contact lenses! Klara normally has blue eyes and the make-up artist had just put these black ones in for the show. Later on I spied her and she had studs in her plait!

Fashion Week by Berns...Dorothea

When I am photographing at fashion weeks, I often wonder what models are really like. I think most seem incredibly nice (and patient!) especially with all the photographers around. Anyway, I got to have a little chat with Dorothea Barth Jorgensen after the Lagom show in Stockholm and I can confirm that she is super, super sweet, and her feet have remained firmly planted on the ground despite all her success. You can check out her blog, Displaced Bones, here.

After Filippa K:

Stockholm Street Style....Malin

Malin (a student) in Zara hooded gilet that she bought in Spain when she was on holidays.

Fashion Week by Berns (Stockholm)

Love the mix of fabrics here: shiny for day but made subtle with the layered long-sleeved tee's.

Fashion Week by Berns (Stockholm)....Cardi Comfiness

The way to squeeze every last ounce out of summer (and denim shorty shorts)? Add a long, comfy cardigan.

Fashion Week by Berns (Stockholm)...Alma

Music student Alma in vintage leather and denim jeans.

Fashion Week by Berns (Stockholm)....After Filippa K

The Couple
After the Filippa K show on Monday.
I really liked the Filippa K show: it wasn't groundbreaking or extraordinary, just clothes that were pretty, wearable and relaxed.

Stockholm Street Style....Off the Shoulder

I was walking with Daniel and Caroline from Stockholm Street Style when Daniel stopped this girl for a photo....and I sort of piggybacked and took one too!

Fashion Week by Berns (Stockholm)....Studded Caramel

I spent 2 nights in Stockholm at the beginning of the week photographing at fashion week. It was my second time in Stockholm and it has left me wanting more.....

Highlights?
  • Dinner (two nights in a row!) at Restaurant Sturehof. We tried to get into PA&Co one night but it was booked out. If you visit Restaurant Sturehof make sure you try the Swedish crayfish and the poached cod with brown butter and horseradish. Delicious.
  • A trip on the archipelago in a speedboat. So much fun and it was lovely seeing all the gorgeous little Swedish summer houses dotted around the islands. I would love to spend a week just puttering around the different islands on a boat
  • The Acne stores (of course!)
  • The Elle pop-up store and cafe in Stureplan (great coffee and pastries)

  • The Byredo store (I am still obsessed with the Pulp and Rose Noire fragrances since I smelt them in Barney's in New York last year)

  • The Italian coffee shop in Stureplan (not sure of the name but it is near Urban Outfitters) where I went with Caroline and Daniel from Stockholm Streetstyle

  • All the girls I photographed in Stockholm (so friendly, pretty and stylish!)

Stockholm Street Style....Number 84. Bingo!

I had just finished lunch at Zinc bar in Stureplan when I spotted Allis in her H&M number 84 t-shirt.
