I love everything about this outfit- the accessories (especially the Chanel cuff), the Celine neon yellow python handbag, her yellow sandals and most of all her smile! Oh, and she had the most adorable freckles which I don't think you can see in my photos. But they were there...and so cute!

Alexa Chung after the Louis Vuitton show. Alexa may I please borrow your delicious mulberry-coloured bag? And your shoes? And your jacket? (from the Spring 2010 collection). Actually, while we're at it, I might need to borrow your legs as well if I am to have any hope of pulling it all off!
p.s. I was assisting a photographer on a shoot with Alexa (I think it was for Lula magazine) the year before last, and she was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately I was mostly running around London the entire day returning bags of unwanted clothes from the shoot to agencies so I only got to see her being photographed right at the very end of the day (such is the glamorous life of an unpaid photographic assistant ;). I remember that it was super chilly though and I offered to get her a cardi and a cup of tea! Oh yeah, and I recall that the make-up artist (another Aussie girl) saying that her skin was so perfect that she hardly needed any make-up. *sigh*

Mr Marc Jacobs after the Louis Vuitton show.
I really wanted a photo of Marc because last September I got whooshed aside by a plethora of photographers just as I was about to take his photo. I ended up getting a wee bit of Marc in the shot but mostly lots of cameras. So as soon as I spied him coming out of the tent this year, I scurried and was able to take this image without anyone else around and, miraculously, no one in the background- woo hoo! And the show? Gosh, I so wish someone had gifted me a ticket- it was excruciating standing on the outside of the tent seeing the incredible water fountains shooting towards the roof and hearing the beautiful music but not being able to see the show. Luckily my friend Jo showed me some of the shots she took backstage and I was oohing and ahhing over the voluptuous ballgowns (helloooo breasts!), pretty fitted dresses with full skirts (helloooo waists!) and the full leather 50's circle skirts. And the models? Wow! Elle, Laetitia, Karolina, Bar and Jessica. I might not have been invited to the show but I am most pleased I got a shot of the genius behind it all: Marc.
