Paris Fashion Week Revisited...Sunshiny Yellow on a Very Cold Day

Running With The Fash Pack....Paris Fashion Week A/W 2010

This shot happened as I was heading home late one afternoon from the shows: I was cold, hungry and had almost had my foot run over by a clueless chauffeur/ driver while I was standing in the halle freyssinet venue. Just as I was trudging up the last few steps onto the metro platform (and just as the train was pulling in- you can see it in the background) I spotted this guy. I lurched forward with my camera and literally had 5 secs to take this photo- I didn't want him and his friend to miss their ride. They didn't, thank goodness :)

I completely obsessed with hats at the moment: photographing them, trying them on and scheming a way to adopt a La Cerise Sur Le Chapeau fedora (preferably in deep plum, thank you). And Kenzo did the most brilliant hats (and fabulous bohemian pieces) for A/W 2010 which the models got to keep after the show.
Model Ruby Aldridge (thank you Jess!). She looked completely stunning in the Kenzo hat (and I think the red sunglasses might have been from the show as well).

p.s. The wind worked in my favour for these photos....but during the course of the week I think I ended up with a fair portion of the Tuileries grit in my mouth! Excellent for the digestion, no doubt.
